Are eBooks Making Digital Publishers Hopeful?

New data shows the potential behind eBooks

According to the 4th Annual eBook Survey of Publishers, conducted by Publishers Weekly magazine and Aptara, there’s a major increase in eBook revenue.

As reported by Virtual Strategy, the survey revealed “a 100% year-over-year increase in the number of publishers making greater than 10% of their annual revenues from eBooks.” This includes 36% of publishers, compared to 18% in 2011.

This type of data shows a meaningful opportunity for publishers to increase revenue with eBooks.
