Many digital publishers turn to online storefronts to supplement revenue streams. Products that align well with editorial content are great options for e-commerce sites.

It seems that Purch, the publisher behind space.com and Live Science, has added more e-commerce options, reports Ad Week.

The offerings will incorporate a range of products, including apparel, collectibles, and education, all encompassing a wide range of demographics.

The Ad Week article shares a quote from Greg Mason, the CEO of Purch. “The future of publishing will involve stronger incorporation of content and commerce to provide comprehensive experiences for audiences that build brand loyalty.”

We can certainly get behind that notion. Creating alignment with content and products is a great way to enhance a brand.
