Hearst is now helping digital publishers by offering services to medium-sized publishers with circulations between 300,000 and 1 million, reports Women’s Wear Daily.

Hearst is doing this through a new group called Hearst Magazine Publishing Services. It will offer services in print and digital through its partnership with CDS Global, which may include “consumer marketing, procurement, production, Web site, app and e-edition development or management, content creation, financial management or subscription management and fulfillment.”

This group is emerging based off of needs that Hearst recognized. According to John Loughlin, the executive vice president and general manager of Hearst Magazines, clients had inquired about the services that the group had to offer before Hearst Magazines Publishing Services was created.

According to the article, “CDS, which is operated separately from Hearst, manages end-to-end business process outsourcing across 450 print and digital titles, including magazines from big publishers like Condé Nast and Rodale to smaller ones like August Home Publishing and Garden & Gun LLC.”
