Keith J. Kelly’s “Media Ink” column in the New York Post has included a lot of comings and goings lately.

Here’s a list of the latest moves:

  • After stepping down last summer, former top Time editor Rick Stengel (pictured) was sworn in this week as Under Secretary of State for Public Diplomacy and Public Affairs.
  • Managing Editor Kyle Ryan is leaving the Onion A.V. Club to step in as editorial director at EW.com. “We may not know exactly what the digital future will look like in a year or two, but we need people who are fast, flexible, and funny,” said Entertainment Weekly Editor Matt Bean in the New York Post. “We’re focused on building cross platforms, and he’s worn many hats.”
  • Inc. Editor Jim Ledbetter has brought in media reporter Jon Fine as executive editor and David Whitford as an editor-at-large.
  • Southern Living Editor Lindsay Bierman is leaving Time Inc. to serve as a chancellor in the University of North Carolina system. Sid Evans will succeed Bierman.
