B2B platform publisher Access Intelligence showed its commitment to producing events by purchasing conference series Ad Monsters and the annual digital advertising summit OPS.
“It fits right in the middle of our media and marketing space,” Access Intelligence CEO Don Pazour said. “It puts us closer to 60 percent of revenue from events. Events, underpinned by robust digital products – that’s where we’re going.”
B2B publishing trade organization ABM has named SourceMedia CEO Doug Manoni as its new chairman.

Publisher of more than 50 enthusiast magazines, plus B2B events, Active Interest has named Andy Clurman as its new CEO. Clurman, who has been with the company since its founding in 2003, will also continue serving as president.
Atlantic’s National Journal group has named Michael Gottlieb as executive director of its Policy Brands Roundtable, a consultancy arm.
Richard Rivera, who has been with CFO Publishing since 2012, is now president and chief operating officer.
Bradley Peniston has been named deputy editor.
Laurel Pinson has been named digital editorial director, taking over for Anne Sachs, who is now executive digital director. Glamour hit 9 million unique visitors in January, and continues to expand its digital operations, min reports.

Nick Brien has been named president of Hearst Magazines Marketing Services and CEO of ICrossing, the global digital marketing firm acquired by Hearst in 2010.
Josh London, formerly of Salt Island Ventures, is now chief marketing officer in the communications division of publishing and research firm IDG.
Didi Gluck, formerly beauty director at Time Inc.’s Real Simple, is now deputy editor at Meredith‘s More magazine.
Former Newsweek Daily Beast CEO Stephen Colvin is now chief operating officer and president of digital at Robb Report.
Lisa Arbetter has been named editor.
The Enthusiast Network’s Automotive Group will now be headed up by new president Scott Bailey.
Rich Battista has been named the executive VP of Time Inc. and president of People and Entertainment Weekly. Meanwhile, Charo Henriquez has been named executive editor of PeopleEnEspanol.com, the brand’s top digital post.
WIRED unveiled its ambitious site redesign on March 2, unifying reader experience across all platforms and devices while optimizing ad campaigns with a card-based interface and integration.
“Storytelling is a huge priority, for both traditional and sponsored content,” WIRED Chief Revenue Officer Kim Kelleher said in a statement. “Ad units will find premier placement alongside the editorial, where they can equally contribute to the overall experience of WIRED.”
