The Association of Magazine Media (MPA) has released a report on social media activity, reports Talking New Media.

The report, called the Magazine Media 360° Social Media Report, incorporates data from SocialFlow – which tracked Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Instagram and Pinterest data.

Mary G. Berner, president and CEO of MPA, had this to say about the report. “While there is still no broad agreement on what actually matters in social media, insights gleaned from this report can be valuable in gauging the efficiency of our strategies and investments in reaching our audience and clearly demonstrate that magazine media consumers are enthusiastically interacting with their brands on social platforms.”

The report tracked 32 companies over the course of three months (August, September, and October), and helps to show media companies the strengths of operating a multiplatform publishing business, which includes social media and digital editions.
