New Digital Partnership Brings Peanuts Into Digital Publishing

One of the wonderful benefits of the digital environment is the opportunity to revive older forms of media and bring them to a new audience. 

It’s being reported on Business Wire that Cupcake Digital, Inc. has partnered with Peanuts Worldwide, LLC. This partnership includes a range of content, including digital publishing and the creation of activity apps for the Peanuts global community.

According to Business Wire, “The first enhanced storybook app with activities based on the classic “Kick the Football” storyline is slated for release in November 2014 to capitalize on the brand’s association with seasonal holidays and social expression. All apps will be available on the App Store, Amazon Appstore for Android and Google Play, as well as for NOOK and Nabi devices for $1.99 – 2.99.”

Cupcake Digital also plans on creating apps that align with the release of the new Peanuts Movie, which will hit the theaters in 2015.
