Carl Kravetz and Dra. Aliza Lifshitz of Vida y Salud support ReSurge International through Birthday Wish

Carl Kravetz, Publisher at Vida y Salud, recently celebrated a birthday. Although many people receive gifts on their birthdays, Carl decided to ask his colleagues, friends and family to give a gift to a charity he supports instead.

Carl’s hope is to raise money for ReSurge International, a unique organization that provides free reconstructive surgery for the poor in 14 developing countries.

“I chose ReSurge International because no child deserves to be seen as, or treated like, a monster,” Carl stated in an email. “In Bolivia, Aliza and I personally experienced how ReSurge’s free reconstructive surgeries help children who have been marginalized because of their disabilities gain acceptance in their communities.”

In the spirit of giving, we wanted to pass this opportunity on to you. Donating to this Birthday Wish will help children in developing countries live better lives. If you cannot give now, please consider passing this information on to friends, family and colleagues.

We wanted to publish this article at the Mequoda Daily because Carl and Aliza are mission-driven publishers who we respect and admire greatly. They contribute often to causes they believe in and we feel it’s important to do the same.

Donations can be made by visiting Carl’s Birthday Wish now.
