The goal of this subscription website is to help high school seniors earn their way into the colleges and universities of their dreams.

Princeton students Adam Ludwig ’06 and Robert Moore ’06, founded YesLetter.com two years ago (2002). With a $1,000 investment, some knowledge of web design and personal experience getting into the college of their dreams, Moore and Ludwig created the site while still in going to classes.

They were soon joined by an additional owner, University of Pennsylvania student Cliff Jones ’06. The YesLetter.com staff now spans the entire Ivy League and a number of other top-tier undergraduate institutes.

YesLetter.com partners also include college counseling professionals with extensive experience in college admissions counseling, standardized graders both currently and previously employed by major national testing organizations and respected faculty members at top-tier institutions.

YesLetter.com provides specific advice on choosing a school, building up your resume, preparing for tests, filling out applications, interviewing, writing essays, choosing a major, applying for scholarships, etc.

The YesLetter.com private discussion area is a forum where Ivy League students, professional college admissions consultants and other admissions insiders visit frequently to answer posted questions from members. There is also a YesLetter.com chat room.

“There are a number of private consulting companies that offer advice sessions for hundreds or even thousands of dollars per consultation,” the site says. “Our goal is to make the knowledge those services provide available to the masses at an affordable rate.”

A standard student membership in YesLetter.com offers six months of unlimited access to the service for $70. YesLetter.com also offers a fee-waiver program to select high school students with extremely limited financial resources.
