Can you make free e-zine content available via Kindle?

[question]

How about making free e-zine content available via Kindle? The Digital Text Platform via which you can upload publications to sell doesn’t seem to accommodate this type of content?

[answer]

Anything you’re sending out that’s ezine content should really be being published online in a companion blog. Once you do that, you can sign up as a blog publisher in Kindle. In general the content you’re putting into an ezine would get you more bang for your buck if you had each article available online.

Again, you could use a service like Letabund to format the content for you and distribute it to your subscribers, but you’d have to be selling ads in your e-zine to get a ROI on outsourcing the work.
