It seems like Google hasn’t really tinkered with their search engine design in a while, but Google search results pages (SERPs) are getting a big change soon.

Barry Schwartz from Search Engine Land writes that their team has been seeing an increase in font and layout experiments in Google’s SERPs.

Schwartz writes, “Google has been testing many many layouts that made the search results look a bit easier to read by increasing the font size and removing some of the underlines for the hyperlinked content.” He notices “larger font, more white space, no underlines for hyperlinked content and more.”

Have you noticed any of these tests? Schwartz thinks we’ll be seeing a full roll out of the redesigned SERPs very soon. Read the full article on Search Engine Land.
