So, if you’re looking for just one destination when it comes to reading about the spawn of Elvis and a really attractive alien – an event that Nostradamus predicted while doing push-ups on the red carpet at the Golden Globes – this is probably your best bet.

Digiday reports that the app will cost 99 cents per month during an introductory period that currently has no set time frame.

“For us, this is about having a product in market where we can build a direct relationship with consumers who use mobile devices as their primary way to consume content. It’s essential that we have a stake in the ground with them,” American Media Inc.’s Joe Bilman told Digiday. “What we’ve learned from other companies is, there’s more value than just the subscription price. There’s the data of what interests them … what ads are interesting to them, what they’re sharing, marking. That becomes an asset in the AMI portfolio.”
