Kiplinger Agriculture Letter has been around since the late 1920s. The bi-weekly newsletter is now owned by Farm Journal Media.

Folio is reporting on this acquisition. “Effective with the deal, the newsletter will be renamed The Agriculture Letter and current editor Ed Maixner, who will be retiring at the end of this year, will serve as a consultant with Farm Journal Media.”

The first edition of the newsletter will be published under the Farm Journal Media on November 14th.

According to the article from Folio, the newsletter is under the Farm Journal Professional Farmers of America unit. The newsletter joins Pro Farmer in this unit. Subscriptions are currently have the option of getting the newsletter in print or as a digital PDF. The current circulation of the newsletter is around 6,000 subscribers, and a one-year subscription of the newsletter costs $115.
