ExecuNet seeks a Community Coordinator for their senior executive business and recruiting network

ExecuNet seeks a Community Coordinator for their senior executive business and recruiting network

Community Coordinator

Our Community Coordinator is a critical link between our company and our members, providing us with a unique perspective that can usually be gained only from “chatting” one-on-one with the members and by enabling and assessing their communications within the member-to-member and in our various discussion forums.

The enthusiastic and personable individual we seek will possess excellent writing skills; knowledge of online community and online information dissemination; and proven ability to multi-task and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to work independently and as part of a team and a collaborative spirit, and occasionally monitor messages and community forums on weekends.

Reporting to the Editor-in-Chief, responsibilities include:

  • Interacting with membership through feedback and email.
  • Engaging the members in our community activities.
  • Maintaining and hosting executive member special interest groups.
  • Providing programming leadership to deepen the experience of the executive special interest groups by watching discussions and bringing in expert voices.
  • Ensuring members are finding other members and ExecuNet experts.
  • Communicating with members about programs that may be of interest and building the special interest “landing pages” into content-rich destinations for each participant.

Specific experience should include:

  • Writing/content creation and management.
  • Event planning (on and/or offline).
  • Content development outreach working with 3rd parties to bring expertise to their audience.
  • Prior experience attracting people to websites, special interest groups or publications (e-lists, message boards, social networks) and getting them involved in the conversation. Demonstrated understanding of the mechanics of social media, and how online community programs and applications work.

As a self-starter with an entrepreneurial outlook, you will join a supportive team in mid-Fairfield county in an environment that is committed to employee achievement. In addition to a competitive salary and full range of benefits, we offer unlimited beverages, popcorn, pretzels and quite a few semi-spontaneous parties. Qualified candidates, who are interested in a challenging career with an industry leader, are invited to submit résumés and writing clips and/or links to: rgreenspan@execunet.com

Founded in 1988, ExecuNet is the original senior executive business and recruiting network, providing exclusive access to confidential six-figure job listings, expert advice, and high-level business connections for professionals while assisting corporate and search firm recruiters to find qualified executive candidates.
