April Partners

Spring is now here with some enticing offers!

The sun is shining and we are basking in the glow of our April partners.

The days are getting longer, the sun is brighter, and here at Mequoda Publishing Network we are enjoying the warmth of Spring. The longer days lead to more time for hobbies and shopping for those hobbies! What a great time to be looking at gardening supplies, knitting some new spring tops, learning some woodworking skills, or a variety of other activities. Our April partners can help with all of that and more!

The National Garden Bureau has FREE webinars with expert members of National Garden Bureau. Each event is a fun-filled, interesting and inspirational hour of questions and answers.

Interweave Knitting shared 5 free knitted top patterns for summer. There are 5 different styles of tank tops guaranteed to make you want to pull out your knitting needles and get these worked up before summer hits!

Fine Woodworking has a variety of tips, how-tos and video workshops. They even have an offer for a FREE Woodworking Project with Nick Offerman. You’ll find hundreds of projects and more than 100 digital plans with extensive full-size and scale drawings and detailed cutlists.

Spirituality & Health offered us a free eBook “Harness the Power of the Moon”. The moon holds a mystical pull on us, through the way it shapes the ocean tides and dances through its phases each month. Learn how to tap into the power of the moon for greater wellbeing, enhanced health, and deeper connection with nature.

Strong Microbials has a 3-step method for ensuring the healthiest and most productive plants. Better yield, drought resistance, and nutrient uptake are just the short-term benefits of using BioMantra™ Soil. The long-term benefits include healthier soil that is more disease-resistant, delivering stronger crops.

JRM Chemicals introduced us to SoilMoist which is safe, non-toxic, and used in both horticultural and agricultural applications. SoilMoist are water-storing granules that absorb water, then release the water to the soil when needed and can reduce irrigation frequency by 50% and last 3-5 years in the soil.

SHS Distributors introduced us to Wind River Microbials. Their products are all about balance. They balance the populations of beneficial bacteria within the ecosystem, keeping a high amount of good microbes to fend off against pathogens and invasive species.

We even managed to squeeze in a quick trip to New York City for the MACMA Industry Day. What a wonderful source of information. We came away with so many ideas that we will be implementing over the next few months. Retention is definitely a hot topic and we look forward to testing different ideas to increase retention rates.

April provided a wealth of knowledge and was every bit as busy as we were hoping it would be! May is a time of blooming and I am excited to see what blossoms we are able to nurture. If you have something that you think would be of interest to our audience, please reach out to me at christy@mequoda.com.
